Glenview is a quaint neighborhood in Oakland.  Park Boulevard is the main street running East and West between Leimert and Interstate 580.  Residents love the sunshine, parks, trees, shopping , restaurants, and friendly neighbors. 
Most of the homes in Glenview are bungalows from the 1920's and 1930's.  Modest in size but big on architectural details.  Residents typically put great effort into restoring their properties and it shows.  Glenview also has a well-rated public elementary school which makes it a top choice for families with young children.
Glenview's commerical district is just a few blocks long but very lively.  Some favorite spots are Blackberry Bistro, Bellanico, Ultimate Grounds, and Marzano. 
The larger shopping districts of Montclair and Lakeshore are a medium walk or short drive away.
Glenview has many Churches, a Synagogue, and an active neighborhood association.
