I love a good party. I especially love hosting a good party.
The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the drinks were flowing! Always in the mood for a fabulous southern feast, we came up with the perfect menu: Fried Chicken, Potato Salad Lettuce Cups, Fried Green Tomato Bacon Sliders, Bite Sized Corn Dogs, Deviled Eggs, Green Goddess with Crudite and Warm Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. With two bars, one in our living room with 14-foot box beamed ceilings and one in our back yard amid Angel Trumpets, Japanese Dogwood Trees and blooming hydrangeas, the signature cocktail was a beautifully crafted Mint Julep (we even had the traditional ice!). The team of chefs spent all day using our kitchen to prep and create the fare. As guests arrived, food was passed in abundance—perfectly sized bites enabled guests to enjoy the rotation. Our home was electric, filled with great energy, story telling, laughter and friendship. New-to-the-neighborhood clients met long time neighbors—establishing fast friendships and connections. It was truly a night to remember.
Thanks again to all of my friends, neighbors, clients and my team for a very memorable evening.
